Pastor Erick and Anne have been married for 33 years. They grew up in the beautiful state of Maine, specifically Bridgton, where they were high-school sweethearts. They were married and called to ministry as a young couple with three children. They attended Toccoa Falls College located in Toccoa Falls, Georgia, majoring in Theology and Pastoral Ministries.
In 1994, they began their first pastorate at Clymer Alliance Church in Clymer, Pennsylvania. In 1998, they were called to plant a church in Kiel, Wisconsin, and again the Lord blessed the ministry. In 2010, they were called to Living Hope Community Church in Cable, Wisconsin. Disciple-making has always been at the heart of Pastor Erick and Anne’s ministry and in 2016 they moved to Appleton, Wisconsin to work full time with National Church Ministries of the Navigators as a coach and a consultant to church leadership teams.
During 2018, God began working on their hearts to go back to local church ministry. While Pastor Erick still works with the Navigators on a part-time basis, his heart is that of a pastor. They were called to First Alliance Church in the spring of 2018 and began ministry as the lead pastor June 1, 2018.
They have three grown children – William, Jeanelle, and Sarah.
Will is married to Ami. They live in Greensboro, North Carolina, where he is a professor and researcher at the University of North Carolina in Greensboro. Ami is the head athletic trainer at a large high school in Greensboro.
Jeanelle is married to Tim. They live in Appleton, Wisconsin, where Jeanelle is an ICU nurse and Tim works at Thrivent Financial. They have three young children – Sarah, Isaiah, and Levi.
Their youngest daughter, Sarah, was tragically lost in a car accident on December 6th, 2008. She was 20-years-old when she went home to be with our Lord.
The biggest excitement for Pastor Erick and Anne is to come alongside people to help them grow in their journey with Jesus. Their passion is to be fully-devoted followers of Christ who pour their own lives into others so they can experience being a fully-devoted follower of Christ and go and do likewise.
Their vision for the family at First Alliance Church is that we would be a “loving family that is dependent on the Holy Spirit for power, committed to the Word for direction, growing in grace to love, and reaching out in mercy to the world around them.”

Unexpected. That one word describes much of Abby’s journey in life and ministry. It was unexpected at the age of fourteen to move with her family from the suburbs of Delaware to the mission field in Burkina Faso, West Africa. It was unexpected to fall in love with and eventually marry her high school sweetheart and fellow missionary kid, Andrew. It was unexpected to complete a degree in Inclusive Childhood Education at Houghton College only to have God call her out of the public school classroom and into full-time children’s ministry. And it was unexpected for the doors to open for her giftings to expand and flourish as she moved into executive ministries just a few years later. The unexpected has certainly marked Abby’s life, but the grace and lovingkindness of God poured out on each step of the journey has marked her all the more and that has given her every ounce of hope and joy needed along the way.
Her current chapter of this journey of “unexpecteds” is highlighted by reading ferociously, baking as often as she can, and enjoying time with her husband and their lovable golden retriever Charlie. She is a Consecrated Woman in Ministry (CWM) and is honored to serve at First Alliance Church, her home church since birth.
