No, really it is! Missions is the heartbeat of God and the heartbeat of our Christian and Missionary Alliance (C&MA) Family. Learn more about us here.
This year’s missions emphasis theme for the C&MA was developed to encourage the Alliance family in our calling to center our lives around the Kingdom Jesus established. While this may seem a “peculiar” way to live, it is the wonderful, purposeful life He planned for us. We have testimonies from all across our C&MA family of the "peculiar" ways we're serving the kingdom and we can't wait to share them!
This year we had the honor of hosting an international worker from Asia. We spent the weekend getting to know him, his family, and his "peculiar" ministry through coffee. Stay tuned for details on our next missions event so you can be part of what God is doing around the world!
Great Commission Day 2018 is a significant opportunity for the Alliance family to come together and extend the reach of the gospel into some of the most spiritually desolate regions of the world—including at-risk communities in our own country. Last year, the U.S. Alliance family gave more than $700,000 to the Great Commission Day Offering and thousands have come to faith as a result, including Emmanuelle, a French woman whose life has been transformed by Jesus. Learn more about her story here.
On Sunday, May 20 we will celebrate Pentecost Sunday and incredible gift of the Holy Spirit that was given to us on that day over 2,000 years ago. And, as part of that celebration of God’s gift to us, we’ll also have a Great Commission Day offering - giving so that others both stateside and around the world can encounter Him too. We're aiming for 100% participation from our First Alliance family, so whether you give 25 cents, $25, $250, or anywhere in between, we want you to join in!
