What to Expect at FAC

Everything we do here at First Alliance Church is completely based on God's Word, the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Bible and has meaning and purpose. You can be secure that although our worship is expressive, it will never give way to fanaticism. Our praise is often bold and strong, yet sensitive and reverent. Worship is always led in ways that foster unity and emphasizes that we are one body, team, or choir.  Our expressions may involve emotions including laughter, applause or even tears. We desire to experience true worship that is genuine and freeing -- not sensational or rigged.

We seek to communicate and interact with openness and transparency, yet always strive to maintain confidentiality. When you share your prayer needs, they are meant to be held with the utmost love and concern, demonstrating sincerity and compassion.

Our service is structured a little differently than you may have experienced if you've visited church before.  We open with announcements and prayer, followed by a worship song or two that leads us into a message from God's Word.  We conclude our time together with an extended time of worship through song.  We invite our church family to worship God through the giving of tithes and offerings during the final song.  But, as a visitor, there is no expectation or pressure for you to give.

Join us to see what we're all about.  Our service times are Sundays at 10:00 AM and Wednesdays at 6:30 PM, but we have ministries for everyone throughout the week.  You can receive prayer ministry, reach out to our community with us, plug in to discipleship opportunities, and so much more.  We'd love to see you there!

Sunday Morning Snapshot

Come as You Are

You don't have to feel pressured to dress up for services at First Alliance.  And, on special Sundays, we even provide our breakfast and fresh coffee in our cafe!  You won't want to miss those tasty treats!

A Service for Everyone

Our Sunday morning services begin at 10:00 AM and usually last until 11:30 or so.  We begin with worship through song, take time to pray together, and read from the Bible. We would love to have you join us.

Kids Matter to Us

Kids ages 5-11 are invited to children's church for a time of diving deeper into God's Word in fun and creative ways during the sermon, then join us in the service for worship and prayer!  Nursery care for little ones is available for the duration of the service.

You've told me about Sunday morning services, but what are Wednesday evening services like?

We believe that prayer is foundational to our relationship with Jesus, so we come together as a church family on Wednesday evenings for prayer. We begin at 6:30 PM and wrap up around 7:30 PM. At this time, childcare is not available during the service.
